Potential Sources of Inspiration & Insight

Documentaries / TV Series

The True Cost  (2015) - An incredibly powerful look into the fast fashion industry - This is what sparked my interest in sustainable fashion and make me pledge to not buy a single new item of clothing for a year.

Go Back to Where You Came From (SBS) (2011) - A 3-part television documentary series which aims to show the real journey of refugees and asylum seekers who come to Australia.

An Inconvenient Truth (2006) - About climate change and made by Al Gore, an American politician who lost the 2000 presidential election to George W. Bush. At the time of this films release, my local MP (Kate Ellis) put on a free showing in my community and its impact on me was long lasting!

Food Inc. (2008) - An insight in the mass production of meat in the US. This film made me significantly decrease my meat intake and even go vegetarian for a year.
